Yarmarka International Festival is a popular annual event that brings together thousands of multicultural families from the former Soviet Union that live in the Greater Sacramento Area. The festival provides a unique opportunity to promote your product or service and build a lasting connection with this vast market.
Our festival is family-oriented, We have a special program for kids, along with an exclusive entertainment program: including Russian singers, Ukrainian dancers, Moldavian musicians. We also have amazing food like Armenian candy, Uzbek kebabs, Lithuanian ice-cream, Georgian spices, etc. During the event we will hold numerous raffle draws with great prizes.
Gala Award Ceremony
In 2022, every issue of “Diaspora Community Newspaper” featured the portrait of a Sacramento resident on the cover who achieved success through hard work and talent. All of the participants in the “Faces of the Capital” project have one thing in common: they are Slavic immigrants who can inspire our community. Some came to the United States during their childhood, while others came with a wealth of experience, success, and victories behind them and were not afraid to start over. All of the participants in the “Faces of the Capital” project have undoubtedly become a part of the history of our city.
Once our readers have made their choice, we celebrate the honorees, invite prominent guests, and announce the winner at the incredible Gala Awards Ceremony. This event is organized in partnership with Afisha Media Group and marks Afisha’s 29 years of dedication to serving our community. At the ceremony, we recognize the achievements of our community leaders and talented individuals through the nomination of the “Person of the Year” award.
